The Australian Government is providing $187 million to increase patient rebates for 176 General Practitioners (GP) service items on the Medicare Benefit Schedule (MBS). These services include health assessments, chronic disease management plans, and mental health services provided by GPs.

We strive to maintain a standard out of pocket cost to you at Upwey Psychology whilst also managing the impact increasing costs have on our capacity to continue providing psychological support services in an ongoing and sustainable way. This means it is necessary for us to increase our fees from time to time.

Follow the Budget in 2019, the Federal Government announced the Medicare rebate will be increased. Our fees will be mildly increased from 1 January 2020 to maintain our stable out of pocket costs for sessions.
